LASER CUTTING MACHINE OPERTOR

Job Summary

The Laser Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and routine maintenance of laser cutting machine to produce various types of metals and other material parts according to engineering drawings and quality specifications. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Setup and Operation:
• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut parts from various materials (e.g., MS, aluminum, stainless steel).
• Select and install the correct lenses, nozzles, and cutting parameters (power, speed, and gas pressure) based on material type and thickness.
• Monitor the load and unload raw materials (sheets, plates) manually or using overhead cranes/forklifts.
• Programming and File Management:
• Retrieve, load, and edit cutting programs/files (DXF, DWG) from the CAD/CAM system.
• Optimize material usage through efficient nesting of parts to minimize scrap and waste.
• Quality Control:
• Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure production meets required dimensions and tolerances.
• Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, and tape measures) to perform first-piece and in-process quality checks.
• Identify and troubleshoot poor cut quality (e.g., dross, burrs, warpage) and make necessary machine adjustments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
