Job Description

Job Description: As a Cable Technician, your main responsibility will be installing and terminating Cat6 / Cat6A and fiber optic cables. You will also perform I/O punching, faceplate mounting, and port labeling. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and managing patch panels, network switches, and racks. It will be your duty to route cables through walls, ceilings, conduits, and other structures. Conducting cable testing, certification, and documentation will also be part of your daily tasks. In case of LAN/Fiber connectivity issues, you will diagnose and repair them promptly while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: - Install and terminate Cat6 / Cat6A and fiber optic cables - Perform I/O punching, faceplate mounting, and port labeling - Set up and manage patch panels, network switches, and racks - Route cables through walls, ceilings, conduits, and other structures - Conduct cable testing, certification, and documentation - Diagnose and repair LAN/Fiber connectivity issues - Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols Qualifications Required: - Previous experience as a Cable Technician or similar role - Knowledge of industry standards for cable installation and termination - Familiarity with cable testing equipment and procedures - Ability to work efficiently and troubleshoot connectivity issues effectively Kindly provide your current salary details as part of the application process.,
