Job Summary: The Planning Coordinator Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the planning and coordination of production, logistics, or project schedules. This role ensures alignment between departments, timely delivery of materials or milestones, and efficient resource utilization to meet business goals. The manager leads a team of planners or coordinators and collaborates cross-functionally with procurement, operations, sales, and finance. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the planning coordination team to ensure timely execution of schedules. Develop and implement planning strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Monitor and analyze capacity, lead times, and resource requirements to optimize planning accuracy. Collaborate with procurement, logistics, production, and project teams to align schedules and resolve conflicts. Create and maintain detailed planning reports and dashboards for senior management. Forecast demand and plan for material, labor, and production needs accordingly. Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety, and quality standards. Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and systems. Mentor and train team members to develop skills and improve performance. Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and communication. Qualifications: B.E. Electrical is a must. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, or supply chain coordination, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role. Proficient in planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Project, or similar tools). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, PMP). Experience in [insert industry: manufacturing, construction, logistics, etc.]. Working Conditions: Office-based with potential visits to production sites or clients. Some travel may be required.
