Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Mumbai. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, budgeting, and financial analysis. The Accountant will also assist with audits and tax preparation, and provide insights to support financial decision-making. Qualifications Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and account reconciliation Understanding of tax laws, auditing processes, and regulatory compliance Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in the bakery or food industry is a plus
