Project Brief: A noble project for providing quality primary healthcare services to the most underserved areas through operationalization and management of Mobile Medical Units (MMUs)Objectives: To improve health conditions of people in the proposed locations by conducting Mobile OPD at their doorstep To meet immediate healthcare needs through Health Camps To make people aware of health & hygiene issues by organizing Awareness Camps on health issues, facilitating community discussions. Position :- Lab Technician Location : Ballia, Uttar Pradesh Role & responsibilities : Sample Collection & Testing: Collect blood, urine, sputum, and other clinical specimens as per standard protocols. Perform routine diagnostic tests including but not limited to Hemoglobin, Malaria, Blood Sugar, Pregnancy Test, Urine Routine, etc. Ensure proper labeling, handling, and disposal of bio-medical waste. Equipment Handling & Maintenance: Operate and maintain lab instruments such as Hemoglobinometer, Glucometer, Microscope, Centrifuge, etc. Perform daily calibration and quality checks of lab equipment. Report malfunctioning of equipment and coordinate timely repairs. Reporting & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all lab investigations conducted. Assist the Medical Officer in compiling daily reports for submission to the project coordinator. Ensure confidentiality and data integrity of patient information. Inventory & Supplies: Monitor stock levels of lab reagents, kits, and consumables. Maintain records of usage and submit indents in advance to avoid stockouts. Compliance & Safety: Adhere to standard biosafety and infection control practices. Comply with all project protocols, ethical standards, and relevant government guidelines. Supportive Role Assist the Medical Officer and Nurse in community outreach and health awareness activities. Provide basic health information and promote preventive health practices during camps. Preferred candidate profile: Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT) from a recognized institute. Valid registration with the relevant paramedical council (if applicable). Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience preferred, preferably in field/public health settings. Perks and Benefits Best in the Industry.
