Lab Technician

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for collecting and preparing samples from patients, research subjects, or the environment. Your duties will include ensuring that samples are properly labeled and stored to maintain their integrity. You will conduct tests on various substances such as blood, chemicals, and biological samples to analyze their properties. Operating laboratory equipment like microscopes, centrifuges, and spectrometers will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze test results and accurately document the findings. - Maintain lab equipment by keeping it clean, calibrated, and functioning properly. - Manage supplies and inventory, and order new materials when necessary. - Follow strict safety protocols to prevent contamination, exposure to hazardous substances, and accidents. - Ensure that the lab adheres to regulatory standards, such as OSHA or other local safety standards. - Conduct regular checks to ensure all processes and equipment comply with required standards. - Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or test inaccuracies. Qualifications Required: - BSC, MSC, or DMLT is preferred. You will be working full-time on a permanent basis with the following schedule options: day shift, evening shift, morning shift, or night shift. The work location will be in person.,
