Lab Technician

The job involves collecting and preparing samples from patients, research subjects, or the environment while ensuring proper labeling and storage for integrity maintenance. You will be responsible for conducting tests on various substances to analyze their properties, utilizing laboratory equipment like microscopes, centrifuges, or spectrometers. Additionally, you will analyze test results, accurately document findings, and maintain lab equipment by ensuring cleanliness, calibration, and proper functionality. Managing supplies and inventory, as well as ordering new materials when necessary, will be part of your responsibilities. You must follow strict safety protocols to prevent contamination, exposure to hazardous substances, and accidents. It is crucial to ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as OSHA and other local safety standards, conducting regular checks to confirm compliance with required standards, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions or test inaccuracies. Qualifications preferred for this role include a BSC, MSC, or DMLT. The job is full-time and permanent, with shifts available including day, evening, morning, and night. The work location is in person.
