Location: Chettinad Institute of Technology, Manamai, Mahabalipuram

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Lab Instructor in Physics & Chemistry with prior experience in academic laboratories. The role involves supporting faculty in conducting practical sessions, managing lab operations, and guiding students in their experiments to ensure effective learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Physics & Chemistry laboratory sessions for undergraduate engineering students.
• Prepare and set up laboratory equipment, chemicals, and instruments before practical classes.
• Demonstrate and guide students in performing experiments safely and accurately.
• Monitor and enforce laboratory safety standards and cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory of instruments, chemicals, glassware, and lab records.
• Assist in calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lab equipment.
• Support faculty during practical examinations, project work, and academic assessments.
• Ensure proper documentation and submission of lab reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (UG) in Physics/Chemistry or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in an Engineering College laboratory.
• Strong knowledge of Physics & Chemistry practical experiments.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students and faculty.
• Ability to maintain and operate laboratory instruments efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
