One of our client  Global glass manufacturing company established over 70 years ago  operating on over 130 countries worldwide . The company had the lofty vision of being an internationally recognized scientific glass producer.It operates globally  and is one of the most recognized  consumer Glass  and industrial glass producing company.

We are looking out for LAB AND QUALITY  -Incharge for the plant at Jaipur.

Job Title- LAB  AND QUALITY IN CHARGE

Location Jaipur

Direct / Matrix Reporting HOD- BH & Furnace

Key Task & Accountabilities

1. To ensure correct analysis being done by classical method and instrumental analysis.
2. Measurement of transmittance and reflectance of glass3. Preparation of transmission curves as per QC requirement4. Analysis of sodium nitrate on AAS5. Analysis of sodium antimonite on AAS6. Determination of iron of glass on AAS7. Determination of antimony in glass on AAS8. Determination of ZrO2 in glass9. Analysis of glass received.10. To maintain and evaluate performance of all equipments and apparatus11. Inventory control of lab chemicals and spares12. To maintain ISO document and ensure that day to day routine exerciseComplies with ISO procedures.13. To maintain up to date records of wet chemistry methods and Instrumental analysis.14. Experiment and tests related to development activity15. House keeping16. Safety17. Any other jobs as assigned.

Important Competencies

Experience of checking the Glass and raw material by wet chemistry.
To plan for cost saving. To review for more perfection in analysis To utilize laboratory working hours more efficiently To review day to day output of laboratory with HOD Avoid non- business communication during working hours Punctual and disciplined Sincere

Academic & Professional Qualifications-

-B.Sc. ( with chemistry ) M.Sc. ( chemistry )

-Knowledge of instrumental analysis like spectrophotometer , AAS , XRF and other modern instruments used in solar glass laboratory

-Experience (Specify if any particular area)

-B.Sc. ( with chemistry ) with 15 years experience in glass lab or M.Sc. ( chemistry ) or equivalent with 10 years experience in Laboratory
