Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at LAAMS Tax Consultancy Private Limited. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Your role will also involve preparing and filing monthly and quarterly GST returns, IT filings, and providing support in tax representation. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records using Tally, including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and file monthly and quarterly GST returns in compliance with regulations. Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax (IT) returns for clients. Support in tax representation and liaise with government authorities, when necessary. Draft and send emails to clients, vendors, and stakeholders as required. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Use Excel to prepare financial reports, budgets, and other data analysis. Requirements: Proficiency in Tally for bookkeeping and accounting. Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Excellent email drafting and communication skills. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work. Ability to commute to the office daily within city limits. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 6 months of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
