Job Title: L3 Java Developer + Support Location: Bangalore Work Type: Full-time Shift Timings: General or Rotational Shift About the Role: We are actively hiring for L3 Java Developer + Support professionals for a critical role in our team. This position involves providing advanced-level support for Java-based applications hosted in Unix/Linux environments and managing enhancements as needed. Candidates must possess strong hands-on experience in Java, Unix, SQL, and Shell Scripting. Key Responsibilities: Deliver Level 3 support for critical business applications built on Java. Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues in Unix/Linux environments. Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and system monitoring. Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes. Optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries in relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or DB2. Participate in on-call support and ensure 24/7 application availability. Deploy application updates and patches with minimal downtime. Maintain detailed documentation of support workflows, troubleshooting steps, and configuration changes. Continuously improve support and incident management processes. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in L3 support roles. Strong expertise in Java programming and performance tuning. Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux operating systems with command-line proficiency. Proficiency in Shell Scripting (knowledge of Python/Perl is an added advantage). Solid knowledge of relational databases, with experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries. Ability to handle pressure and multiple high-priority issues simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordination with stakeholders. Preference for candidates from reputed organizations (minimum 1,000+ employees). Stable career background is highly desirable.
