L2/ L3- Routing/Switching QA

Role Overview: As a L2/L3 QA Engineer at Versa Networks, you will play a crucial role in the QA team collaborating with the engineering group. Your main focus will be on testing the latest Networking products and technologies, particularly in the QA of switching products. It is essential for you to possess in-depth knowledge of Networking and L2/L3 technologies. Your hands-on experience in software development methodologies and tools usage will be highly valuable in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with engineering teams to test new features - Develop and maintain test cases and test plans - Assist in reproducing issues identified during engineering test phase and field tests - Log bugs and support the dev team in reproducing/debugging issues - Create and execute plans for performance, scalability, regression, and feature testing - Contribute to enhancing product quality and performance through consistent technical feedback Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study Additional Details: Versa Networks is looking for a candidate with 5+ years of hands-on experience in tech/communication companies. Essential Skills: - Profound understanding of software engineering and SQA methodologies - Previous experience in testing and debugging Switching/Routing/L2-L3 services - Good comprehension of TCP/IP protocol suite - Ability to investigate issues, identify probable causes, and provide reliable methods for issue reproduction - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documenting test plans and results - Hands-on experience with traffic generator tools like IxLoad, Spirent TestCenter, etc., will be advantageous,
