We are looking for a skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security design and implementation, with hands-on experience in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage network security solutions to safeguard company infrastructure. Configure and maintain Cisco and Palo Alto network security devices. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices in network architecture. Monitor network traffic and security alerts to detect and respond to threats. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation. Provide expert guidance on network security issues and implement proactive security measures. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to network security. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent. Proven experience of 7 to 15 years in network security engineering roles. Certified Cisco Network Professional (CCNP) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications are mandatory. Extensive experience with Cisco network infrastructure and Palo Alto firewall solutions. Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewall architectures, VPN, IDS/IPS, and security monitoring tools. Ability to design and implement secure network architectures. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders. Preferred: Additional certifications in network security or related fields. Experience with cloud security solutions and hybrid environments. Familiarity with security compliance standards like ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
