Role & responsibilities Tool & Die Maintenance: Assist in the repair, cleaning, and upkeep of dies, precalibrators, feed blocks, bushes, and other die accessories used in the sheet extrusion process. Inventory Management: Maintain and organize inventories of tools, lips, and barrels. Ensure tools are stored properly, readily available for use, and tracked through regular audits. Tool Inspection & Repair: Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment for defects or wear, and carry out minor repairs to maintain them in good working condition. Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of tool issuance and returns. Report any damages or missing items and raise requisitions for new tools or accessories as required. Training & Support: Guide employees/operators on correct tool usage and handling. Assist with training for new hires or during equipment upgrades. Technical Skills: Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and documents. Familiarity with tools and machines used in plastic manufacturing and extrusion environments. Preferred candidate profile Education: Diploma or equivalent technical training in Tool & Die Making. Preference will be given to candidates from CIPET. Experience: 2+ years of experience in tool room operations, die maintenance, or inventory control in a manufacturing setup.
