Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Middleware Developer with over 5 years of hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions, Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), and the Visual Builder Studio (VBS) platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integration technologies, extensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud services, and a proven track record of delivering complex integration projects. Hands-on experience with Oracle SaaS modules such as HCM and Finance is preferred. Responsibilities • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the VBS platform. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration needs and propose scalable, efficient solutions. Implementation and Development • Develop integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud, including integrations with both on-premises and cloud applications. • Build SaaS extensions using VBCS. • Write and optimize code using XSLT, Java, JavaScript, or Groovy to customize and extend OIC capabilities. Integration Patterns and Best Practices • Define and implement integration patterns and best practices to ensure consistency, reliability, and performance. Collaboration • Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, solution architects, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless end-to-end integration. Performance Tuning and Optimization • Analyze and optimize the performance of integration solutions, addressing bottlenecks and improving efficiency. Troubleshooting and Support • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to OIC implementations. • Provide support during system outages or critical incidents. Documentation • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment guides, and operational procedures. Technical Leadership • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members. • Share knowledge and best practices related to Oracle Integration Cloud, VBCS, and related technologies. Continuous Learning • Stay current with the latest Oracle Cloud technologies and integration trends. • Proactively recommend and implement improvements to existing processes and tools. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud and the VBCS platform. • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex integration solutions. • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud services and related technologies. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Oracle Integration Cloud Certification is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain technical components in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud such as: Fast Formulas HCM Extracts BI Publisher Reports OTBI/Dashboards HDL (HCM Data Loader) Web Services (SOAP/REST) Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Web Services, and APIs. Perform data migration and conversion activities using HDL, HSDL, and Spreadsheet Loader. Customize and extend standard functionalities using tools like Page Composer, Application Composer, and Sandbox. Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data, reports, or interfaces. Participate in end-to-end project implementations, including requirement gathering, design, build, testing, and deployment. Provide post-production support and ongoing maintenance. Required Skills and Qualifications: 7–10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud technical development. Proficiency in BI Publisher, OTBI, Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, and HDL. Experience with REST/SOAP Web Services and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Benefits, and Time & Labor. Strong PL/SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle databases. Good understanding of security roles and privileges in Oracle Fusion HCM. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Oracle Cloud certification in HCM (Technical or Functional). Experience with Agile methodology and tools like Jira, Confluence, etc. Exposure to other Oracle Fusion modules like ERP or SCM is a plus.
