The Associate will be responsible for providing legal advice on intellectual property matters, drafting and filing patent applications, managing litigation and opposition proceedings, conducting research and analysis on IP law developments, and advising clients on IP strategy and portfolio management. The role also involves liaising with international patent offices and handling diverse technology domains and industries. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Patent Associate and Patent Senior Associate at K&S Partners, based in Hyderabad with flexibility for some remote work. The role involves tasks such as preparing and drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patentability assessments, and providing strategic advice on intellectual property. The associate will also collaborate with clients to ensure robust protection of their IP assets and support litigation and licensing matters as needed. Qualifications Expertise in Patent Preparation and drafting high-quality patent applications Strong understanding of Patent Law, and expertise in Patent Prosecution Proficiency in Patentability assessments and providing strategic opinion Knowledge of Intellectual Property management and its applications across industries Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer science/ ECE/ IT Engineering and/or Law Previous experience working with IP law firms or corporate IP divisions is preferred
