Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with hands-on experience in CATIA and AutoCAD to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of product design, 3D modeling, drafting, and technical documentation. You will be responsible for creating accurate designs, supporting production teams, and ensuring projects meet quality and engineering standard 📌 Key Responsibilities Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA and AutoCAD. Prepare and update detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documents. Modify existing designs based on customer requirements or feedback. Collaborate with the production, tooling, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility. Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and fitment checks. Assist in prototype development and design validation. Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety guidelines, and company specifications. Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement activities. Maintain proper documentation and version control of all design files. 🎯 Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 1+ year of hands-on experience in design using CATIA and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and GD&T. Ability to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and drafting layouts. Good understanding of manufacturing processes (fabrication, machining, tooling preferred). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and within a team.
