As a Printing Press Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the printing operations to ensure high-quality output, efficient production, and smooth workflow. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing printing press operations, supervising staff, and maintaining equipment, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the printing processes. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing daily printing press operations to ensure timely and high-quality production, managing and supervising printing staff, monitoring machine performance, scheduling maintenance, and troubleshooting issues. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards such as ISO and GMP, coordinating with clients, designers, and suppliers for material procurement, and optimizing production processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Additionally, you will be required to maintain inventory of printing materials, train and mentor new employees on printing techniques and safety protocols, and prepare production reports to ensure deadlines are met. To excel in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of offset, digital, or flexographic printing processes, familiarity with printing machinery such as Heidelberg and Komori, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform basic maintenance.
