Company Description Kreeyaa Chennai is a space that nurtures neuro-diversity focusing on a healing environment by integrating life skills with therapy. We follow the pedagogy built by Rudolf Steiner, who founded Anthroposophy and Waldorf Education, through which we foster the holistic growth and development of children and individuals. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Educator based in Chennai. The Special Educator will be responsible for teaching and supporting children and individuals in the neuro-diverse space. The role involves creating customized education plans, assessing progress of child/ren, and collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals. Effective communication with all stakeholders is essential to provide a supportive learning environment. Qualifications Minimum "On the Job" experience of 3+ years in field of Special Education Knowledge of teaching techniques and best practices for neurodivergent children & individuals Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues Ability to create and implement individualized education plans Dedication to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field Experience with Waldorf Education principles is a definite plus
