Responsibilities The purpose of the role is to work on preventive/scheduled/breakdown maintenance routines to assigned equipment including 3rd party test equipment. Responsible for maintenance and calibration of all instruments at plant & utilities like Level transmitter , Flow meter ,Control valve , Pressure transmitter , RTD, thermocouple, PID Controller ,Indicators, Packing and bagging machines, Weighing balance etc.. Knowledge of troubleshooting PLC, HMI and SCADA related problems of running plant Coordination with different support departments for smooth running of plant Receiving Training of SOPs and execution on the shop floor. Other duties may be assigned as and when required. You should be ready to work in rotational shifts. Qualifications Diploma in Instrumentation and Control/Equivalent Experience (3-5) Yrs. The Shift Engineer Maintenance will be responsible for equipment maintenance, maintenance engineering, maintenance & repair, preventive maintenance, and electrical maintenance. Report to maintenance head for day to day shift activities Support and supervise the mechanical maintenance activities in the unit Candidate should be involve in regular preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance Adherence to safety standards in the areas of plant maintenance and utility Coordination with production, quality and others departments for supervision of maintenance activities on main plant and utility equipments Maintaining Daily LOG book for work carried out through technician recording of daily Breakdown and corrective action. Preparation and presentation of ISO documents, history Cards etc... Experience in fermentation industries/various food industries Prior maintenance experience on various equipments like Pumps, Evaporators, Dryers, Conveyors, Blenders, Agitators, Extruders, Gearboxes, Blowers, Air Compressors, Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers, Centrifugal Separators, Decanters, Filtration Units, Bagging & Packing Machines, Boilers etc. Good communication and teamwork skills Performs others duties as assigned Qualifications & Preferences Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent only Excellent verbal and written communication skill 3-5 years of experience preferably in any yeast fermentation plants/ other relevant process industries Perks and benefits As per company's norms
