You will be part of a dynamic team as a LiDAR Engineer, where your expertise in LiDAR technology, data processing, and spatial analysis will be crucial. Your primary responsibilities will include processing and analyzing LiDAR point cloud data, performing data classification, filtering, and feature extraction. Collaborating with survey teams and GIS specialists to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards will also be essential. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining data accuracy, conducting quality control checks, and ensuring project compliance. Your tasks will involve preparing detailed reports, visualizations, and documentation to support project requirements. To excel in this role, you should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in LiDAR data processing tools such as TerraScan, LAStools, Global Mapper, etc., is required. Proficiency in GIS software like ArcGIS and QGIS will be advantageous. Your attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment will be essential for success in this position.
