Experience required - 3 to 4 years Responsibilities Analyze business requirements, functional documents, and user stories to understand testing scope. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and UI testing for web and mobile applications. Test and validate API request-response flows, ensuring correct data, error handling, and endpoint behavior. Validate backend data using SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Accurately log defects in JIRA with clear steps to reproduce (STR), screenshots, logs, and relevant attachments. Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure timely issue resolution. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and contribute to all agile testing activities. Prepare test summary reports, manage test execution timelines, and ensure on-time delivery. Own release readiness: test runs, sign-offs, sanity testing on staging/pre-prod, hotfix verification, and post-release monitoring. Stay updated on QA tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance testing processes. Mandatory Skills Strong manual testing experience across mobile, web, and API applications, with excellent exploratory testing instincts and defect isolation skills. Hands-on experience in API testing Proficiency in debugging tools such as Fiddler, Charles Proxy, Proxyman, and browser DevTools. Working knowledge of SQL. Strong bug reporting skills, including STR, actual vs expected results, environment details, logs, and attachments, with properly versioned test assets. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Good to Have Exposure to automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, and Appium. Programming knowledge in Java / Python / JavaScript. Working knowledge of TestNG and Maven for test automation structure and execution. Basic understanding of version control systems like GitLab / GitHub. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build workflows Basic understanding of AI in software testing, including AI-assisted testing tools, predictive defect analysis, or test optimization using AI.
