1. Diagnostic Imaging Lead end-to-end interpretation of X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and other imaging modalities with high diagnostic accuracy. 2. Clinical Reporting Deliver clear, structured, and actionable reports that directly support physician decision-making and patient treatment pathways. 3. Interdepartmental Collaboration Act as the strategic clinical advisor to surgeons, physicians, emergency teams, and intensivists for case discussions and treatment planning. 4. Patient Assessment & Guidance Interact with patients during ultrasound and interventional procedures; explain findings or next steps when required. 5. Protocol & Quality Governance Define and maintain imaging protocols, ensure safety compliance, radiation standards, and audit report quality across the department. 6. Interventional Procedures (if applicable) Perform image-guided biopsies, FNAC, drainage procedures, and other minimally invasive interventions using precision techniques. 7. Emergency & On-Call Support Provide rapid diagnostic input for trauma, stroke, acute abdomen, and other time-sensitive situations. 8. Equipment & Technology Oversight Ensure optimal utilization of diagnostic equipment, manage calibration schedules, flag technical malfunctions, and drive tech-based improvements. 9. Training & Mentorship Guide junior doctors, technicians, and interns; conduct case reviews and knowledge sessions to uplift departmental capability. 10. Continuous Professional Development Stay aligned with the latest advancements in radiology, AI-assisted diagnostics, regulatory changes, and emerging imaging technologies.
