Store Manager – Job Description Position Summary The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, achieving sales targets, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring smooth and profitable store functioning. Key Responsibilities 1. Store Operations Supervise daily store activities and ensure smooth functioning. Maintain store cleanliness, display standards, and merchandising. Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines. Manage opening and closing procedures. 2. Sales & Customer Service Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue. Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints effectively. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. 3. Inventory Management Track stock levels and ensure timely replenishment. Conduct regular stock audits and prevent stock-outs & pilferage. Coordinate with suppliers and logistics for deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory records. 4. Staff Management Recruit, train, and supervise store staff. Prepare duty rosters and assign responsibilities. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback. Ensure team discipline, punctuality, and productivity. 5. Reporting & Administration Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Manage billing system, cash handling, and reconciliation. Maintain store documentation and records. Coordinate with senior management for updates and approvals.
