The Sales Executive is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Conduct outbound/Inbound calls to farmers, agricultural businesses, and distributors to generate sales leads. Identify potential customers and understand their needs to offer suitable products or solutions. Maintain a detailed database of leads and prospects for follow-up activities. Do not transfer leads directly from executive to executive. All lead transfers must go through managers to ensure proper handling. Sales & Product Promotion: Promote agricultural products, fertilizers and crop protection solutions. Explain the benefits and features of products to customers, and provide necessary information to drive sales. Offer customized solutions based on the customer's specific agricultural needs. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers through regular follow-up calls. Address customer queries, provide timely responses, and ensure customer satisfaction. Keep track of customer interactions and feedback to understand their requirements and improve sales. Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics. Track sales progress and provide regular reports to the sales manager or team lead. Assist in the development of strategies to achieve sales growth in the agriculture sector. Market Research & Reporting: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions in the agriculture sector. Report customer feedback, competitor activity, and market insights to the sales team for strategic planning. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about new agricultural products and innovations. Continuously improve knowledge of the agriculture industry, including crop cycles, pest management, and farming techniques. Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and transactions in CRM systems.
