About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lab in charge/Electronics Assembler to support our Electronics Lab. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/related fields and will assist the engineering team in assembling, testing, and maintaining embedded hardware. This role is hands-on and involves both technical and organizational responsibilities, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the lab. Responsibilities Assembly & Soldering: Perform through-hole and SMD soldering for prototypes and production boards. Assemble and rework PCBs as per design requirements. Testing & Debugging: Conduct continuity, power-on, and functional checks on boards. Assist in identifying and resolving minor hardware issues under the guidance of engineers. Use basic lab instruments (multimeter, power supply, oscilloscope, etc.). Inventory & Lab Management: Maintain organized records of lab components, tools, and equipment. Track component usage and ensure timely replenishment. Place orders for parts and consumables in coordination with procurement. Documentation & Support: Maintain logs of builds, test results, and inventory movements. Support team members in preparing boards for demos, trials, and field testing. Ensure lab safety, cleanliness, and proper handling of sensitive components. Qualifications & Skills Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field. Strong soldering skills (through-hole and surface-mount). Familiarity with electronic components, schematics, and PCB layouts. Basic troubleshooting and debugging knowledge. Ability to operate lab equipment (multimeter, power supply, oscilloscope). Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in lab maintenance. Good communication and coordination skills.
