We are seeking a skilled Python Network Engineer to design, automate, and optimize our network infrastructure using Python and relevant automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in networking concepts along with hands-on experience in scripting and automation for large-scale environments. Key Responsibilities: Develop automation scripts and tools using Python for network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Integrate network automation with APIs, Ansible, Netmiko, NAPALM, RESTCONF, and other tools. Collaborate with network engineers and DevOps teams to streamline operations and reduce manual effort. Analyze network data and logs, generate reports, and visualize trends using Python libraries. Support SDN/NFV initiatives and cloud network automation. Perform regular network health checks and proactively resolve potential issues. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for network deployment and testing. Document automation processes and maintain version-controlled repositories. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Python (including modules like paramiko, netmiko, requests, pandas, jinja2, etc.). Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, etc.). Hands-on experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.). Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience working with REST APIs, YAML, JSON, and XML. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP). Exposure to network simulation tools (e.g., EVE-NG, GNS3). Familiarity with SDN (Software Defined Networking) and automation platforms (e.g., Cisco DNA Center, Apstra, NSO). Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Excellent communication and documentation skills. As a PS Consultant (XDR), you will be responsible for providing expert-level remote consultation and support in the network and security domain to leading global clients. Your primary role will involve implementing, supporting, and optimizing EDR/XDR and security solutions while closely collaborating with customers and internal account teams. Desired Profile: Education: - BE/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent. Experience: - You should have 6-8 years of experience in remote support/consultation for network and cybersecurity, with a strong focus on EDR/XDR solutions.
