Role Overview The Event Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing email-driven campaigns for our investor events. These events are a cornerstone of our community, bringing together angel investors, entrepreneurs, and partners. From crafting compelling invitations to post-event follow-ups, this role ensures our members and guests stay informed, engaged, and inspired to participate. The ideal candidate will also bring expert-level consulting skills, offering guidance on improving the customer experience and using multiple communication channels effectively, including email, Zoom, WhatsApp/Text marketing, and CRM management. 🔻 Core Responsibilities Plan and execute event communication campaigns across email and landing pages, managing timelines, sequencing, and touchpoints. Create and distribute invitations, confirmations, reminders, and post-event follow-ups that drive strong participation and engagement. Automate communication workflows (save-the-dates, last calls, thank-you notes, surveys, highlight recaps, recordings). Collaborate with design/operations to ensure branding consistency across all materials. Leverage CRM segmentation for personalized outreach to members, investors, and partners. Provide expert-level consultations via Email, Calendar with Zoom integration, ensuring best practices for customer experience. Manage and implement WhatsApp/Text marketing strategies to engage event participants and drive conversions. Track and report on KPIs (open rates, CTRs, RSVPs, attendance conversion, engagement). Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of campaign performance. Provide CRM management expertise to streamline and optimize member interactions. 🔻 Required Skills Proven expertise in email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Zoho Campaigns, or similar). Familiarity with event registration/management tools (Eventbrite, Cvent, Zoho Events, Airmeet, etc.). Strong copywriting ability for concise, professional, and urgency-driven communications. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage campaigns for multiple events simultaneously. Expertise in WhatsApp/Text marketing and CRM management to ensure customer engagement and retention. Strong consulting and advisory skills with experience in email, calendar, and Zoom integrations to improve customer experience. 🔻 Experience to Look For 2-4 years of experience in event marketing, corporate communications, or investor/community events. Track record of end-to-end campaign management with measurable results. Familiarity with B2B or investor community communications. Experience integrating CRM tools for audience targeting and personalization. Experience in WhatsApp/Text marketing and managing customer relationships through digital channels. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. 🔻 Ideal Candidate Profile We’re seeking someone who can independently manage the event email marketing calendar for investor-focused programs. Given a timeline of three weeks, they should be able to: Build a strategic campaign plan. Draft and send invitations with a polished RSVP landing page. Schedule reminders and confirmations to optimize attendance. Execute follow-ups (thank-you notes, surveys, highlight recaps). Deliver a clear performance report with actionable insights.
