We , KEC Asian Cables Limited are looking for a Cable Design Engineer responsible for designing and developing Rubber & Ebeam cables for various applications. The role involves material selection, mechanical and electrical design, compliance with industry standards, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. R ole Description 1.Handle Designing of Rubber & Ebeam cables for various applications like Railways, Navy, Solar etc. 2. Reviewing technical specifications & accordingly assisting the sales team in costing. 3.Creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation like BOM, GTP, QAP, CSD etc. 4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including SCM, manufacturing, and Quality assurance for smooth execution of orders. 5.Technically handle the customer from the enquiry to order execution stage. 6.Answer the customer queries related to technical parameters & also calculations. Qualifications 1.Experience in Designing Cables LV & MV Rubber cables and Electron beam cured cables for various applications like Railways, Navy,Solar etc. 2.Coordinating with the end client for any technical related material requirement such as GA drawings, Rating factor, Specifications, QAP etc. 3.Proficiency in various IS, IEC BS, Railways, Navy specifications . 4.Conversant with the latest technology and industry - product standards and specifications. 5.Knowledge of MS Office – Excel, Cable design software/SAP system 6.Ability to interact independently with sales team. 7.Good knowledge of manufacturing process . 8.Clear & good communication skills. 9.Ability to work in a multitasking environment & should be able to independently handle projects. Past Experience 5+ years of experience in cable design, testing ,manufacturing, or related fields
