Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily maintenance activities for mechanical equipment and utilities. Ensure smooth operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of plant machinery. Plan and execute predictive & preventive maintenance schedules. Monitor performance of pumps, valves, reactors, heat exchangers, compressors, and other chemical plant equipment. Coordinate with production, safety, and engineering teams for maintenance support. Manage breakdowns efficiently to reduce downtime. Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement. Prepare maintenance reports, logbooks, and documentation. Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and statutory requirements. Supervise technicians and contractors; ensure job quality and safety. Skills & Competencies: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems in chemical plants. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and equipment maintenance. Knowledge of maintenance planning tools and safety practices. Team handling and communication skills.
