JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a skilled CAD Draftsman (2D & 3D) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise and detailed technical drawings, plans, and 3D models for construction and design projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that designs are accurate, meet specifications, and comply with industry standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Possess a sound knowledge of Modular Interior Construction, Modular Partitions, BIM (Building Information Modelling), and Prefabrication processes. 2D DRAFTING: Generate and update accurate CAD shop drawings including layout, elevations, and details for partition and POD/phone booth systems. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for partition elements. 3D MODELLING: Create and develop 3D models and visualizations of floor plans and partition layouts using BIM processes, ensuring designs are realistic, functional, and buildable. CORE QUALIFICATIONS PROFICIENCY IN CAD SOFTWARE : - Strong proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD (for 2D drafting) and Autodesk Revit software for 3D modelling including the creation and modification of families/objects. EXPERIENCE WITH 3D MODELLING TOOLS: Familiarity with SKETCHUP OR 3DS MAX is a plus. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients. Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of architectural, civil, or mechanical design principles and construction practices. You must be able to produce precise and accurate drawings and models with a keen eye for detail. Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Education & Experience Educational Qualification: - A minimum of a Diploma in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Construction or a related field . ITI candidates shall be considered based on their expertise . Experience: Extensive experience in CAD drawing within the Building & Construction industry. At least 2 years of experience in CAD drawing, with a strong understanding of workflows between architects, consultants, and contractors.
