We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Company Secretary to join our jewellery showroom team. The role demands both corporate compliance expertise and strong administrative abilities to ensure smooth governance, legal adherence, and support in business operations. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements. Maintain and manage statutory books, registers, and company records. Organize and prepare board meetings, general meetings, and committee meetings, including drafting agendas, notices, and meeting minutes. Provide guidance to the management team on corporate governance best practices and legal matters. Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, legal advisors, and stakeholders. Draft and review agreements, contracts, and other legal documents as required. Support financial disclosures, annual returns, and regulatory filings within set deadlines. Assist the management team in strategic decision-making by providing timely and accurate compliance updates. Provide support in internal controls, risk management, and operational policies to safeguard company interests. Ensure confidentiality and professional handling of sensitive company information. Qualifications & Skills Required Graduate in Commerce/Business or Law, with a CS qualification from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). 2–5 years of experience as a Company Secretary, preferably in a retail, FMCG, or jewellery sector. In-depth knowledge of corporate laws, taxation basics, and compliance frameworks. Strong drafting, communication, and presentation skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with an eye for detail. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with corporate compliance software.
