The Accounting Manager will oversee all financial operations at the scrap yard, including labour payment management, bookkeeping, statutory compliance, and coordination with external auditors and tax consultants. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and experience in managing cash flow and accounts using Tally. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate daily records of scrap sales, purchases, and expenses. Process weekly labour salary and ensure timely disbursement of wages. Update and reconcile accounts in Tally on a regular basis. Oversee invoice generation, vendor payments, and petty cash tracking. Liaise with taxation and compliance agents for GST, TDS, and other statutory filings. Prepare periodic financial reports and support management in budgeting and cost tracking. Ensure proper documentation for all transactions and maintain organized audit trails. Support annual audits and respond to queries from auditors or tax authorities.
