Manage day-to-day accounting operations: accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Handle project-based accounting : job costing, budgeting, and expense tracking. Monitor client billing, vendor payments, and subcontractor accounts . Prepare and review financial statements , profit & loss, balance sheets, and MIS reports. Ensure GST, TDS, and other tax compliances and file returns on time. Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits. Maintain documentation and records in accordance with company policy. Handle petty cash , payroll support, and expense reimbursements. Liaise with project managers for cost controls and variance analysis . Support procurement and admin teams on vendor-related financial matters. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter preferred but not mandatory). 3–5 years of accounting experience , preferably in interior design, construction, or fit-out companies . Strong understanding of project costing and contractor billing systems . Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, Pact software , or ERP systems. Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation laws . Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and coordination abilities. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with BOQ-based billing and work completion-based invoicing . Knowledge of RERA compliance (if applicable). Experience working with vendors, contractors, and site engineers . Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire lifecycle of interior fit-out projects: planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery . Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met. Prepare and manage project schedules, timelines, and resources. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, progress, and compliance with design and safety standards. Manage BOQ, procurement planning , and resource allocation. Ensure cost control, budget adherence, and timely billing coordination . Supervise and manage site engineers, contractors, and vendors . Track project progress and prepare status reports for internal and client reviews. Resolve issues, delays, or conflicts that arise during the project execution. Ensure timely project handover with quality and client satisfaction. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design . 5–10 years of project management experience in interior fit-outs / turnkey interior contracting . Proven ability to handle residential, commercial, retail, or hospitality interior projects. Excellent understanding of BOQ, drawings, materials, and finishes . Proficient in MS Project / Excel / AutoCAD . Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
