Patient Care & Communication Provide compassionate counseling and education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and preventive healthcare. Ensure patient satisfaction through empathetic communication and timely follow-up. Administrative & Compliance Maintain compliance with hospital policies and statutory medical regulations in Afghanistan. Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, infection control programs, and hospital committees as assigned. Ensure confidentiality, ethical practice, and adherence to medical code of conduct. Qualifications & Requirements MBBS from a recognized medical institution (mandatory). MD/DNB in Internal Medicine from an MCI/NMC-recognized university. Valid Registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or relevant State Medical Council. Proven clinical experience in internal medicine, hospitalist care, or general medicine practice. Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high patient volumes. Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice. Preferred Skills Experience in ICU/critical care management. Familiarity with hospital EMR systems. Training or exposure in preventive medicine and lifestyle disease management. Ability to handle emergency medical conditions efficiently.
