Job Description: Offshore Microsoft ERP Project Manager Location: Surat, Gujarat, India Reports to: Head of Delivery Job Type: Full-Time Position Summary: The Offshore Microsoft ERP Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) / CRM implementation projects. This role involves managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and offshore resources while collaborating closely with onshore teams and international clients. The ideal candidate will combine strong project leadership, deep Microsoft ERP expertise, and a proven ability to drive successful outcomes in a global delivery model. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Delivery & Execution Lead the planning, execution, and completion of D365 ERP implementation projects using structured methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Microsoft Sure Step, or Success by Design). Ensure all deliverables meet agreed scope, timeline, quality, and budget objectives. 2. Offshore Team Leadership Build, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary offshore team including functional consultants, developers, and testers. Foster collaboration, accountability, and performance excellence within the team. 3. Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary liaison between offshore teams, onshore leadership, vendors, and client stakeholders (including C-suite executives). Manage expectations, facilitate communication, and resolve escalations effectively. 4. Solution Design & Delivery Quality Oversee requirement workshops, conduct fit-gap analyses, and validate functional and technical designs. Ensure proposed D365 solutions are scalable, aligned with business needs, and compliant with best practices. 5. Risk, Issue & Change Management Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and scope changes proactively. Develop and execute mitigation plans and escalate critical issues as needed. 6. Financial & Resource Management Manage project budgets, track financial performance, and optimize resource utilization within agreed constraints. 7. Quality Assurance & Compliance Oversee configuration, customization, testing, and data migration to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards. 8. Change Enablement & User Adoption Drive change management initiatives, plan end-user training, and support a seamless transition to the new ERP environment. 9. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed project documentation including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews. 10. Continuous Improvement Contribute to the evolution of delivery frameworks and methodologies, leveraging insights from completed projects. Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum 6+ years in ERP implementation and deployment within a consulting or systems integration environment. Proven experience managing 2–3 full lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / ERP implementations. Hands-on experience in an offshore-onshore delivery model with international clients. Technical Expertise: Strong functional and/or technical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / SCM modules (e.g., GL, AP/AR, SCM, Manufacturing). Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and Azure integration services. Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices using Azure DevOps. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills. Proven leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Analytical mindset with the ability to navigate complex challenges and drive consensus. Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred. Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-500, MB-700) are a strong plus.
