Position Overview: JVS Foods Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Sales Head to drive our expansion in the nutritional ingredients and micronutrient premix vertical, with a strong focus on both domestic and international markets . This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role ideal for a high-performing professional with deep industry knowledge, strong B2B sales capabilities, and a proven track record of leading successful sales teams. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently executing business development initiatives , leveraging existing networks and client relationships within the food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical , or ingredient solutions industry. A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset is essential, as the role involves both driving immediate sales and building the foundation of a high-growth vertical within the organization. Candidates with demonstrated success in export sales and international market development will be given preference. Role & responsibilities 1. Sales & Growth Strategy Drive B2B sales of micronutrient and nutritional premixes to food, pharmaceutical, and nutraceutical clients . Lead market penetration strategies across domestic and international markets. 2. Exports & International Business Expand business in Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Manage export compliance, distributors, and government/NGO procurement where applicable. 3. Business Development & Client Acquisition Independently identify and pursue B2B opportunities with big buyers / brands and bulk procurers. Leverage personal industry networks to initiate high-value business conversations. Act as the single point of contact for key client interactions. 4. Market Research & Opportunity Mapping Continuously research market trends, tender opportunities, and large purchase cycles. 5. Cross-functional Coordination Work closely with production, logistics, quality, and finance teams to align supply capability with client needs. Ensure order fulfilment and client satisfaction. 6. Reporting & CRM Maintain an updated sales funnel, record client interactions, and report progress to management. Adopt CRM tools and reporting formats for transparency and tracking. Preferred candidate profile Graduate in Food Technology, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences; MBA preferred Minimum 10 years in B2B sales of nutritional/food/pharma ingredients Should have handled international markets and compliance Proven experience in managing 46 member sales teams Willingness to travel across India and abroad

Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor procurement strategies. Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers/vendors specific. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to ensure cost efficiency and quality compliance. Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to optimize sourcing decisions. Prepare, review, and manage procurement-related SOPs and documentation.
