QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum of 4 -7 years of experience as a Linux Systems Engineer/Administrator in enterprise environments. Proven experience with Linux distributions like RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or Debian. Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, etc.) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). RHCE, LFCS, or CompTIA Linux+ are highly desirable. SKILLS: Proficiency in shell scripting and at least one additional programming language (Python, Perl, etc.). Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, LDAP, and DHCP. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.). Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with hybrid environments. Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and optimize performance.
