Job Description: Lead a team of 5-6 interns, assign tasks and oversee the execution of internal audits and business advisory projects. Plan, conduct and review internal audits and internal financial control (IFC) audits to assess risk management and compliance. Identify process inefficiencies, internal control weaknesses and areas for operational improvement in client organizations. Provide business advisory services, including financial analysis and strategic recommendations. Assist clients in setting up and optimizing Management Information Systems (MIS) for better financial and operational decision-making. Evaluate appropriate growth strategies for clients and help them scale up their businesses by improving financial performance and operational efficiency. Mentor interns by providing technical training and ensuring quality and accuracy in audit and advisory deliverables.
About the role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive MBA/Graduate Accountant to handle accounting for US clients using QuickBooks. The role involves day-to-day bookkeeping, preparing financial reports in Excel, and participating in daily online meetings with clients to ensure smooth communication and timely deliverables. Role & responsibilities: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks in QuickBooks for US clients. Record, classify, and reconcile financial transactions accurately and timely. Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reports and analysis in Excel. Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations. Coordinate with clients through daily online meetings to discuss work status, queries, and deliverables. Maintain compliance with accounting principles and client-specific requirements. Ensure timely reporting and maintain proper documentation for all accounting work. Preferred candidate profile: MBA (Finance) / B.Com / M.Com or equivalent graduate degree in Accounting/Finance. Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of US accounting principles will be an added advantage. Experience with QuickBooks Online or Desktop is mandatory. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas, formatting). Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and client-centric approach.
Role & responsibilities: • Monitor the daily work tracker of employees across the firm to ensure accurate and timely entries. • Review and highlight missed billings, unaccounted hours and time gaps to ensure no revenue leakage. • Identify inefficient employees and patterns of underperformance for management review. • Ensure employees regularly punch in their timesheets and follow internal work-tracking protocols. • Prepare periodic MIS reports on employee productivity, timesheet compliance and billing gaps. • Escalate critical issues of inefficiency, repeated policy violations or potential billing misses to the management. • Coordinate with team leaders to improve workflow efficiency and ensure accountability. • Assist in implementing monitoring systems, automation tools and controls for better time and task management. Preferred candidate profile: 1 to 2 years in administrative/operations role with exposure to team monitoring and reporting.
