Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Underwriter to join our team in Kolkata. The role involves assisting in evaluating insurance applications, analyzing risk factors, and preparing policy documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of underwriting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess insurance applications under supervision.
• Collect and verify applicant information, documents, and reports.
• Support senior underwriters in analyzing risk exposure.
• Assist in preparing quotations, policy terms, and endorsements.
• Maintain accurate underwriting records and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, agents, and clients for required information.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Graduate in Commerce/Finance/Management (Insurance qualification preferred).
• 0–2 years of experience in insurance/finance/underwriting (freshers may apply).
• Strong analytical and numerical ability.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

CTC: As per industry standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
