About the job: Role description: This is a full-time on-site role for a UX/Product Designer located in Bengaluru. The UX Designer will be responsible for applying design thinking principles, conducting user research, creating visual designs, developing user experiences (UX), and prototyping innovative solutions for CODIO application and other related applications. You'll partner with product managers, engineers, and AI teams to transform complex workflows into clear, user-friendly interfaces. Key responsibilities: 1. User Research & Testing: Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability tests; synthesize insights into actionable design improvements. 2. Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low- to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma, Sketch, or similar tools. 3. Visual & Interaction Design: Develop pixel-perfect mockups and define animation/interactions for web and mobile. 4. Design System Maintenance: Build and maintain a cohesive UI component library to ensure consistency across the product. 5. Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and AI/ML experts to iterate quickly and deliver features on schedule. Qualifications 1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field. 2. Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing UI/UX or product design projects (academic, personal, or internship work). 3. Tool Proficiency: Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Canva, or equivalent. 4. Technical Familiarity: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end workflows. 5. Soft Skills: Excellent visual design sense, clear communication, and a passion for solving user problems with an eye for detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience or projects in SaaS, healthcare, Legal-tech, or AI-powered products. Knowledge of data visualization principles for AI/ML interfaces. Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG guidelines) and inclusive design best practices. Product/UX Design or equivalent certifications.
