Junior Transport Planner

Role Overview: As a Junior Transport Planner at Bowker, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow within the Selby team. You will start by learning from experienced planners and gradually take on responsibilities such as dealing with Network Business, debriefing drivers, trunk allocation, producing labels/trunk manifests, cross-docking for night trunks, as well as KPI & non-conformance reporting. This role offers a great chance to progress into a full planning role and be an integral part of the logistics operations at Bowker. Key Responsibilities: - Learn from experienced planners to gain a solid understanding of the transportation planning process - Handle Network Business and assist in debriefing drivers - Allocate trunks and produce labels/trunk manifests - Manage cross-docking operations for night trunks - Prepare and report on KPIs and non-conformance issues Qualifications Required: - The ideal candidate will be at a junior level, just starting out in their career.
