Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic and talented Junior Ship Design Engineers to join our team in Kolkata! In this role, you will gain valuable experience working on real-world ship design projects using Aveva Marine software. You will collaborate with a team of experienced engineers on various aspects of ship design, including hull, piping, electrical, and structural outfitting.

Responsibilities:

• Work on assigned ship design projects using Aveva Marine software
• Create and modify 2D and 3D models of ship components and systems
• Perform calculations and analyses to ensure designs meet technical requirements
• Assist senior engineers with technical tasks
• Participate in design reviews and meetings
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date design documentation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ship design practices and technologies

Qualifications:

• B.E., or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Naval Architecture (or a related field)
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in CAD software (preferably Aveva Marine)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
