Junior Research Assistant

As a Junior Research Assistant with 0-1 years of experience, you will play a vital role in our team by assisting in laboratory tests, handling specimens, and maintaining equipment to support various medical laboratory activities. Your dedication and attention to detail are essential in ensuring accurate and timely results. Your responsibilities will include following established protocols to conduct laboratory tests, preparing specimens for examination through labeling, centrifugation, and preliminary analysis, and ensuring the functionality and calibration of laboratory equipment. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care and maintain precise records of laboratory work while upholding documentation and safety standards. To excel in this role, you should possess a B.Sc or M.Sc in Microbiology (preferred) and have a basic understanding of hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, and immunology. Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and infection control measures is crucial. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for freshers, offering benefits such as paid sick time and paid time off. The work schedule is during the day shift, and a willingness to travel up to 75% of the time is preferred.
