Junior QA Engineer (Entry Level)

As a Junior QA Engineer (Entry Level) at our remote-based office in India, you will be an integral part of our team focused on HRMS applications for public sector organizations. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through both manual and automated testing. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a strong passion for software quality and a desire to expand their knowledge. Your duties will include collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to grasp project requirements, creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and conducting automation testing on web and/or mobile applications using tools like Selenium with Java. You will also be involved in developing and maintaining automated test scripts, documenting and tracking defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla, and participating in Agile/Scrum team activities like sprint planning and daily stand-ups. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience), along with at least 2 years of experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Familiarity with programming or scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to empathize with users are essential qualities for this position.
