Junior PHP Developer

We are currently looking for a junior PHP developer to join our team and contribute to the development of websites and applications that offer thoughtful experiences tailored to our customers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our web team to understand customer requirements, brainstorm solutions, create website mockups and prototypes, present these designs to customers, and work on developing and optimizing live platforms. We are seeking an individual who is proactive, technically strong, and curious to learn. It is essential to not only know how to code but also understand the underlying principles behind the code. Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively with team members to grasp client requirements. - Coordinate with the design team to create mockups and wireframes. - Write clean and well-structured code. - Create detailed technical product descriptions. - Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases to ensure optimal functionality. - Contribute to all phases of software development. - Adhere to industry best practices for writing clean code. - Develop and implement new features that enhance relevant tools and processes as needed. - Enhance the code-base of our products significantly. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Candidates with a Master's degree in Software Engineering will also be considered. - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PHP Developer. - Familiarity with open-source projects such as Wordpress. - Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles. - Up-to-date knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, etc. - Experience in integrating common 3rd party APIs like Facebook, Google, etc. - Preference for candidates with knowledge of web services development. - Passion for coding practices and innovative designs. - Ability to think creatively and develop bold ideas. - Proficiency in MySQL. - Knowledge of core PHP, Laravel. - Experience with API integration and development.
