Junior .NET Developer

We are currently seeking a skilled Device Interfacing Developer with a background in integrating medical and laboratory instruments with LIMS platforms. As a Junior .NET Developer at ElizaLIMS, you will be involved in leveraging your expertise in C# and interfacing laboratory instruments through various communication protocols such as Serial Port (RS232), TCP/IP, and message formats like ASTM and HL7. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the development and maintenance of communication modules that establish connectivity between laboratory equipment and our LIMS/LIS system. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage .NET applications for lab device communication. - Interface with laboratory equipment using serial and TCP/IP protocols. - Handle parsing and transmission of ASTM and HL7 messages. - Identify and troubleshoot communication issues and maintain detailed logs. - Collaborate closely with QA and support teams to ensure seamless integration. Requirements: - Proficiency in C# and .NET programming languages. - Basic understanding of RS232 and TCP/IP communication protocols. - Familiarity with HL7 and ASTM message formats. - Strong problem-solving abilities and debugging skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Desired Skills: - Prior experience with HL7 libraries (e.g., NHapi). - Knowledge of LIMS/LIS systems or laboratory workflows. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for freshers as well. The work schedule may involve day, evening, night shifts, including weekends on a rotational basis.
