As a Medical Coding professional, your role will involve verifying extracted hospital tariff data such as room types, procedures, and pricing against original scanned documents. You will need to identify and correct any mismatches or missing data, escalating unclear entries to QC2. It is essential to ensure compliance with QC checklists and meet daily throughput targets. Maintaining audit logs of all corrections and updates will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, adherence to information security policies, including NDA and secure systems usage, is crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Verify extracted hospital tariff data against original scanned documents - Identify and correct mismatches or missing data, escalating unclear entries to QC2 - Ensure compliance with QC checklists and daily throughput targets - Maintain audit logs of all corrections and updates - Adhere to information security policies (NDA, secure systems usage) Qualifications Required: - Graduate in any stream - 1-3 years of experience in data entry, document validation, or healthcare billing preferred - High attention to detail and accuracy - Proficiency in MS Excel (filters, lookups, data validation) - Strong focus, ability to work under SLAs and deadlines - Must clear background verification and NDA compliance In this role, you will be measured against the following Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - First-pass accuracy > 98% - Rework rate < 1% - Daily throughput as per SLA Please note that the job is Full-time, located in Chennai, and requires in-person work.
