,,,,includinginandtheyandincluding,,,Roles and Responsibilities Develop design concepts for residential and commercial projects using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant software. Prepare presentation drawings, working drawings, BOQs, and Bills of Quantities for architectural designs. Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences for interior decoration and modular kitchen designs. Create detailed 3D models using 3ds Max to visualize project ideas. Assist in preparing BOQs and Bills of Quantities for commercial projects. JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER Artistry Insight Interiors Roles and Responsibilities: Meticulously support throughout the design process which may include design plans, construction contract documents, elevations and details, reflected ceiling plans, millwork design, furniture layouts, ergonomic dimensions, finish plans, color plans, cost analysis, engineering systems coordination, document checking, schematic design and schedules. Produce brand-appropriate design presentations. Utilize your experience with all phases of Interior Design, specifically within FF&E, from Concept Design through Construction Administration to realize a successful design concept. Produce mood, material and design presentations with minimal supervisios and Produce furniture plans, specifications, material selections a,n and schedules needed for construction documentation with minimal supervision. Participate in client, vendor and consultant meetings. Utilize knowledge of furniture and technology, custom furniture and lighting solutions, finishes, materials, color selections, and ID specifications. Independently create material palettes and inspiration image boards. Perform programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes; including as-built drawings, space plans and final installation drawings for specification and installation of furniture. Requirements and Skills: Furniture systems and specifications. Basic understanding of current state and city building codes as it apply to systems furniture layouts. Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors). Hands-on experience in Excel. Proficiency in making invoices and quotations on Excel. Strong artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching capabilities preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related space planning/rendering programs preferred. Color and materials. Knowledge of SketchUp and 3-D Studio Max.
