Junior Front End Software Engineer

As a Junior Front End Software Engineer at Indegene, you will be responsible for developing and implementing web-based applications using Java-J2EE technologies such as JSP and Servlets. You will design and architect applications following Java design patterns and best practices. Additionally, you will work with frameworks like Spring 3.x and above for backend development and develop frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, and frameworks like AngularJS or similar. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement web-based applications using Java-J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets). - Design and architect applications using Java design patterns and best practices. - Work with frameworks like Spring 3.x and above for backend development. - Develop frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, and frameworks like AngularJS or similar. - Design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases (10g and above) including PL/SQL development. - Prepare and execute manual unit test cases; automate testing where possible. - Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot application and system issues effectively. - Collaborate with end-users, management, and cross-functional teams for requirements and support. - Mentor junior developers and assist team members in technical challenges. - Contribute to process improvements, including build and release management, across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Qualifications Required: - Strong proficiency in Java-J2EE technologies and web application development. - Expertise in Spring framework and experience with Java design patterns. - Solid knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML4/5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and SPA frameworks (AngularJS preferred). - In-depth experience with Oracle database design, DDL, DML, and PL/SQL. - Experience with both manual and automated unit testing methodologies. - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation. - Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies. - Comfortable working in a team-oriented, agile development environment. - Ability to mentor and guide junior team members and contribute to continuous process improvement.,
